Localo vs Local Falcon vs LocalPulse: Which One for a UK Agency in 2026?
Full disclosure before anything else: LocalPulse is our product. We have tried to write this the way we would want a competitor to write about us, with the numbers checked on each vendor's live pricing page and the trade-offs stated plainly. Where we are weaker, we say so.
The three tools in one sentence each
Localo is an automation-first local SEO platform: rank tracking, review management, content publishing, citations and white-label reporting, sold as a subscription in tiers by number of business profiles.
Local Falcon is the geo-grid specialist: the most flexible map-grid scanning on the market, with AI visibility checks run on the same grid, sold in credits.
LocalPulse is a white-label monthly report per client property: a 49-point map grid, organic ranks, AI visibility across four engines and website health, plus a personalised fix plan in the agency's console, sold flat per property in pounds.
Pricing, checked 29 September 2026
| Localo | Local Falcon | LocalPulse | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Model | Subscription in tiers by number of business profiles | Credits: one credit per grid point per scan | Flat per tracked property |
| Entry price | $39 a month (Single Business, 1 profile); $32.42 a month billed annually | $24.99 a month (Starter, 7,500 credits) | £15 per property a month |
| Agency tier | $69 (Pro 10) to $399 (Pro 120) a month; two months free billed annually; half of each tier's profiles get the optimisation tools | $49.99 to $199.99 a month (15,150 to 63,150 credits); Enterprise from $499 | No tiers: 10 properties is £150, 40 is £600 |
| Currency | US dollars (VAT may apply) | US dollars | Pounds, invoiced in £ |
| What expires | Nothing | Monthly-plan credits at month end; annual credits at year end; pay-as-you-go ($0.05) never | Nothing |
| Free trial | 14 days, no card | 100 free credits on sign-up | Public sample report; free branded demo on request |
The three models behave differently as you grow. Localo's Pro tiers cover 10, 30, 60 or 120 profiles for one price each, so the cost per client falls as you fill a tier, then steps up to the next. Local Falcon's cost rises with how much you scan, not with how many clients you have; a client you scan weekly on five keywords costs far more than one you scan monthly on two. LocalPulse is linear: every property costs the same, whatever you do with it.
For ten single-location clients on 29 September 2026 prices, that is $69 a month on Localo Pro 10 (ten profiles, five of them with the optimisation tools) or $149 on Pro 30 if all ten need optimising, $49.99 to $99.99 on Local Falcon depending on how much you scan (a client on five keywords, a weekly 7 by 7 scan and a monthly two-platform AI check uses about 1,550 credits), and £150 on LocalPulse. On price alone Localo is the cheapest of the three for ten clients and LocalPulse the dearest; what LocalPulse sells is a finished white-label report per client at a sterling price that does not move.
What each does well
Localo is the broadest. If you want one login that tracks ranks, manages reviews, publishes Google Business Profile posts, builds a small site and hands the client a white-label report, Localo does all of it, and its Pro tiers (10 to 120 profiles) make it cheap per client for a mid-sized agency. It is a European company with a modern product and a 14-day trial with no card.
Local Falcon is the deepest on the grid. Ten grid sizes from 3 by 3 to 21 by 21, radius control, scheduled scans, competitor and trend reports, and AI visibility checked point by point on the same grid across several AI platforms. If your work is diagnosing exactly where a client wins and loses across a city, nothing else is as precise. Reports with your own logo are on its Premium plan ($199.99 a month); shareable report links are on every plan.
LocalPulse is the simplest to resell. One flat price, one report per client property with your logo, and the four AI engines clients ask about (ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews) included at no extra cost. It is UK-built, invoiced in pounds, and the database is hosted in London. The LocalPulse vs Localo comparison and the LocalPulse vs Local Falcon comparison go line by line.
Where each is thin
Localo's weak spot for a UK agency is the currency and the seat model. Everything is in dollars, so your sterling retainer and your dollar cost drift apart month by month. And the distinction between "active profiles" and "optimisation seats" takes a moment to map onto how you bill. Its map grid is also not the centre of the product the way it is for the other two.
Local Falcon's weak spot is the meter. On a monthly plan, unused credits expire at the end of the month, so you either scan more than you need or lose what you paid for. Your wholesale cost per client is a moving target, which makes a fixed-fee reporting line harder to price. We work through the arithmetic in Local Falcon credits explained.
LocalPulse's weak spot is scope. It does not manage reviews, publish posts or build citations. The grid is 49 points on a radius you set per client (1 to 25 km), scanned every 30 days, with an on-demand refresh up to once every seven days, sooner if a scan comes back incomplete. If you need large custom grids, scheduled weekly scanning or an all-in-one, LocalPulse is not that tool, and we would rather say so here than on a cancellation call.

How to choose
Ask three questions.
What is the job you do every month? If it is "run the client's whole local presence", Localo. If it is "diagnose the grid in detail and scan often", Local Falcon. If it is "send the client a branded report and get on with the work", LocalPulse.
What currency do you bill in? If you quote in pounds and want your input cost in pounds, that narrows it to one. If dollars do not bother you, all three are open.
How much will you scan? If the honest answer is "a lot, and it varies", Local Falcon's flexibility is worth the credit admin. If the honest answer is "the same every month for every client", a flat model, Localo's or LocalPulse's, is easier to build a margin on.
What to do next
Write down your ten clients and what you actually do for each one every month. Then price the three tools for that list, not for the feature page. Run Localo's 14-day trial and Local Falcon's 100 free credits on one real client, and open the LocalPulse sample report, which is the unbranded version of what a client would receive.
Then check the prices again on the day you decide. We checked ours on 29 September 2026; theirs will have moved by the time you read this.
Localo and Local Falcon prices and features were checked on localo.com/pricing and localfalcon.com/pricing on 29 September 2026, and Localo's reports page (localo.com/local-seo-tool/reports) on 29 September 2026. Both vendors price in US dollars and change plans from time to time. Confirm the current figure on the vendor's page before you quote a client.
